Home-Based Casework
In-home mentoring and family support that meets families where they are.
- What it is
- Home-Based Casework is relational, goal-directed support delivered in the family's own environment. I work alongside parents, caregivers, and youth to build on existing strengths, model healthy routines and communication, and move steadily toward the goals named in the case plan.
- Who it serves
- Families referred for in-home support, including those working toward reunification, stability, or strengthened protective factors.
- How I work
- I show up consistently, build genuine rapport, and keep the work practical and strengths-based. Sessions focus on mentoring and family support rather than instruction. Progress is documented clearly and on time so the referring team always has an accurate picture between visits.
- Grounded in
- The Indiana DCS Practice Model and the CSSP Strengthening Families Protective Factors framework.
